Adson-Micro Tissue Forceps – 0.9 mm, 1×2 Teeth

A 1×2 configuration interlocks — one tooth meeting between two — and that is the most secure hold a forceps can take, because the tissue is trapped rather than pinched. Miniaturising it to 0.9 mm brings that security to fine work: a graft edge or a thin flap that needs to be held under real traction without slipping, where the multi-row Brown pattern would grip too lightly and a standard 1×2 would be too coarse.

The serrated platform behind the teeth handles the other half of the job. Fine suturing means alternating constantly between holding tissue and managing the suture, and a flat serrated area grips thread by friction without the teeth catching it. One instrument covers both, which keeps instrument changes out of a field where the surgeon is working under magnification.
