The Fiber Optic Retractor – Right Angle Blade from NJ Medical Instruments brings cold fiber optic light to the working end of a right-angle retractor blade, improving tissue exposure in plastic, specialty and general surgical procedures. The blade, light carrier and handle form a single instrument with no removable parts.
A flat, low-profile 5 mm light carrier runs along the blade and is laser welded and sealed in place. The polished blade tip reflects light into the surgical field, and the lightweight ergonomic thermoplastic handle keeps the instrument comfortable to hold.
Two tip designs are available: a right-angle smooth tip and a right-angle tip with teeth. Each is offered with or without an integrated suction tube, so buyers can match blade size, tip design and suction to the procedure.
