Facelift Scissors – Curved Serrated Supercut, Duckbill Tips

Duckbill tips are broad and flattened, so the blades cannot perforate the flap they are working under. Facelift dissection runs beneath skin the surgeon largely cannot see, and the tips meet tissue nobody is watching directly — a broad tip pushes it aside where a point would go through.

Straight shanks keep the handle in line with the blades, so the surgeon feels the blade angle directly rather than through a bend. Double-bevelled blades are ground on both faces, which keeps the cutting edge centred so the cut follows the intended line, and serrations on the lower blade hold mobile flap tissue that would otherwise be pushed ahead of the blades.
