Hoffman Ear Forceps – Round Jaws

The Hoffman Ear Forceps in the round jaw pattern provides an even, circumferential grip on tissue, foreign bodies and debris in the ear canal and middle ear. Where cup and oval forceps scoop and contain, the round jaw conforms to the target from all sides, distributing compression evenly and avoiding the point-loading that can tear delicate mucosa or collapse a polyp before it is fully grasped.

The 2.5 mm jaw diameter handles the mid-range of ear canal targets—too large for ossicular-level work (where 0.5–1 mm cups are needed), but ideal for polyps, granulations and foreign bodies. At 8 cm overall length the forceps works through a standard ear speculum.
