TMJ Condyle Retractor, 21.5 cm – Small 6 × 10 mm Tip

The TMJ is a small joint in a crowded place. The joint space itself is only millimetres across, the condyle sits deep enough that the surgeon cannot see it directly from the incision, and the structures around it leave very little margin. A 6 × 10 mm tip is sized to work inside that space rather than crowd it — anything larger holds tissue back by occupying the room the surgeon needs.

21.5 cm is the reach that gets the tip there with the hand well clear of the field. That combination — long shaft, very small tip — is what TMJ work demands, and it is also what makes the instrument demanding to use: at that length every hand movement is magnified at a tip too small to see clearly.
