Strandell-Stille Retractor, 17 cm – Toothed, 6 × 15 mm

Teeth change what the retractor can hold. A blunt tip keeps tissue back by pressure and slides off anything tough or slippery; teeth engage the tissue edge, so the hold survives traction that would defeat a smooth blade. Fascia, a heavy skin edge and muscle all need that — they are exactly the tissues a blunt retractor loses.

The trade is that teeth mark what they grip, so the toothed version is chosen for tissue robust enough to take it and the blunt version for everything else. Same 17 cm length and same 6 × 15 mm shallow profile across both; only the tissue contact differs, which is why the pattern is stocked as a pair rather than one compromise tip.
