Sculpo Endoscopic Retractor, 180 × 25 mm – Telescope Channel

Endoscopic surgery through a small incision has a crowding problem: the endoscope, the retractor and the working instruments all enter through the same opening, and each one takes space the others need. Building the telescope channel into the retractor removes one instrument from that opening entirely — the scope travels with the blade instead of alongside it.

The stopcock is what makes that work. A telescope held only by hand drifts, and in endoscopic work the view moving is the same as the field moving. Locking the scope to the retractor fixes the view relative to the tissue being held, so both stay where the surgeon set them. At 180 × 25 mm the blade creates and maintains the optical cavity the endoscope needs to see into.
