Duckbill Ear Forceps – Extra Flat

The Duckbill Ear Forceps takes its name from the flattened, broad-tipped jaw shape. The extra-flat variant reduces the jaw cross-section further, so the instrument can enter tissue planes and anatomical gaps that would block a standard micro forceps — under a tympanomeatal flap, between the incus and the facial ridge, or into a narrow attic space.

The broad flat tip contacts tissue over a wide area at low pressure, which lifts and positions delicate structures without the concentrated load that a narrow tip applies. That combination — thin profile, wide contact face — is what makes the duckbill shape distinct from every other jaw pattern in the range.
