The Fiber Optic Retractors with Silicone Handle from NJ Medical Instruments bring cold fiber optic light to the blade tip, improving tissue exposure for plastic surgeons, otolaryngologists and general surgeons.
The molded silicone handle gives a comfortable, non-slip grip, and the polished stainless steel blade reflects light into the surgical field. A 5 mm fiber optic light carrier runs along the blade, the external components are sealed for easier cleaning, and a universal fiber-light cable connector with an ACMI base is fitted.
Four tip designs are available: right angle smooth, right angle with teeth, angle down straight and angled down curved. Built-in suction is available on every tip to clear smoke and fluid from the field.
With 13 blade sizes from 16 mm × 8 cm to 38 mm × 25 cm, the range covers short, narrow blades through to long, wide blades, and custom blade sizes are available on request.
